Terms of Service

Hart AI Governance · Last updated June 1, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of The Leash, HAIG's compliance gap assessment platform, available at dark-sea-fe45.jesse-hart.workers.dev. By using The Leash, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Description of Service

The Leash is an automated compliance gap assessment tool that analyzes your responses and any documents you voluntarily submit to identify potential gaps across major regulatory frameworks including HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, GDPR, the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, NIST CSF, and applicable U.S. state privacy regulations. The output is a preliminary gap assessment report delivered as a Word document. It is intended as a starting point for compliance planning, not a final compliance determination.

2. Not Legal or Regulatory Advice

The Leash does not provide legal advice, regulatory advice, or professional opinions of any kind. The gap assessment report is informational only. You should consult qualified legal, compliance, or regulatory professionals before making decisions based on any output from this service. HAIG is a compliance consultancy, not a law firm. Use of this tool does not create an attorney-client relationship or any professional engagement.

3. Session Data and Deletion

The Leash does not maintain persistent user accounts. Each assessment is conducted as an isolated session. Session data — including your responses, any documents you upload, and the generated report — is automatically deleted from HAIG systems after your session is complete and the report has been delivered. No session data is sold, licensed, or shared with third parties.

4. What You Submit

You are responsible for what you submit to The Leash. Do not submit information you are not authorized to share. Do not submit data that is classified, export-controlled, or subject to restrictions that would prohibit its use in an automated system. If you submit documents containing protected health information (PHI), personally identifiable information (PII), or other sensitive data, you represent that you have the authority to submit that information and that doing so does not violate any applicable law or agreement.

5. Accuracy of Output

The Leash uses AI-assisted analysis to produce gap assessment reports. While HAIG has designed the system to produce accurate and useful output, no automated system is infallible. You are responsible for reviewing the report and verifying its conclusions before relying on them. HAIG does not warrant that the report is complete, accurate, or current with respect to all applicable regulations.

6. Intellectual Property

The Leash platform, its underlying methodology (AAIG™), and the report templates are the intellectual property of Hart AI Governance. The gap assessment report generated for your organization is yours to use for your own compliance purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, or represent the output as your own work product in a professional services context without a separate written agreement with HAIG.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HAIG is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of The Leash or reliance on its output.

8. Changes to These Terms

HAIG may update these Terms of Service at any time. The current version will always be available at hart-ai-governance.com/terms. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
